20. Many of Dearborn's neighboring communities offer similar services and amenities. Good schools, safe neighborhoods, convenient parks and regular city services. These provide tremendous appeal. But the first to offer them was Dearborn! That's right, Dearborn pioneered the path for citizen's satisfaction, resulting in higher property values and making Dearborn a community that was envied, and eventually emulated by neighboring cities. Though copied, none offer the quality of the origianl, which keeps getting better and better! - Marlene

During the winter we went ice-skating at the public park where boys would bring their hockey sticks and push us aside as... ~ Janice

We are close to everything: good schools, jobs, affordable daycare, sports programs, a great library, museums, and entertainment. Our home is paid off, allowing us to save money... - Diana
